With a first histogram of 16.7, 2.7/16.0 and only .2 over 30, Masai sheared 7.8 lbs with 4.6 lb blanke, and he remains a uniform grade 2 with fabulous handle at 5.

Masai's 28 month skin biopsy reads: Density 71.8, SP ratio 11.2:1,
In skin mean PRIMARY AFD 24.6 with sd of 3.1 Range 17.9-30.6
SECONDARY 20.8 sd 2.8 Range 12.8-29.9
Ian Watt commented"Good density showing good uniformity both within and between the 2 fiber populations with a bonus of better than average S:P ratio.

Calm and even disposition, color in his background, and low fiber stats, we are looking forward to Masai's first cria in July 2017.
Sweet Desire and Reine des Violettes, have explained to him in green, no uncertain terms he got the job done right the first time! Will he throw color?

Yes Indeed! Masai's first son is a smoldering red male with black points out of a black female with grey points. Masai's daughter is medium fawn from black. Both are sweet tempered, curious, and have lovely phenotype and soft typey fiber. This year he is bred to all the colored females on our farm!

The dams of these cria are high value fleece producers and have produced show and fiber winners-what an unbeatable combination!
